Lee L. Lewis

Lee L. Lewis, age 75, passed away, Thursday, September 17, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, in the Palliative Care Unit. He was born February 20, 1934 in Toledo, to Edward and Margaret (Farley) Lewis. Lee was a longtime resident of Toledo. He was employed with the Toledo Greenhouse and the former Woodville Auto Service
retiring after many years of service. Lee was lovingly known to his family as, "Mr. Fix It," and he really enjoyed the challenge of making things work. Most importantly he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

In addition to his parents, Edward and Margaret (Farley) Lewis-Feahr, Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Lewis and sisters, Genevieve Main and June Osborn. Lee is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pearl B.J. (Martin) Lewis, children Margaret 'Maggie' (Edward) Meyer of Ft. Mill, SC., Ralph (Mary) Lewis of Toledo, Patsy Schmidt of Holland, OH, Alisha (Joe) Moye of Toledo, sisters Carolyn Garrett and Patsy Mickens, 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests, Sunday, 2-3:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419- 473-0030). A Memorial Service will begin Sunday at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
