Lee A. Files, age 77, of Toledo, passed away July 9, 2019 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1941 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Lee and Dila (Foster) Files.
Lee is survived by his sister, Mildred Stills; children, Glenda R. Files, Michael (Avis) A. Files, Sherry (Keith) McCarver, Lee (Crystal) A. Files, Sr. and Shannon McDade; step-daughter, Kathy (Tony) Canterbury; grandchildren, Tiffany Duvall, Lee Files, Jr., Cierra Jones, Keishe McCarver and Shameka McCarver and other grandchildren and great grandchildren; and favorite nephew, Jermaine Stills. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Aloma Files and grandsons, Randal Files-Dewberry and Terence Files.
The family will receive guests, Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer – SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
