Lawrence W. Bills, Sr.
January 27, 1932 — July 14, 2016
Lawrence W. Bills, Sr., age 84, went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2016. He was born on January 27, 1932 to the late Malsie and Leo Bills in Hudson, Michigan.
Larry was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He was a devoted Truck Driver for 41 years. Larry was a member of LeMoyne Baptist Church for over 25 years. He loved to hunt and fish. His family and friends will miss his jokes and stories, especially about his childhood on the farm.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael J. Bills, Linda M. Bills and Lawrence W. "Butch" Bills, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; daughter, Deborah Auger; brother, Richard; sister, Mary.
The family will receive guests on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial donations may be made to: The American Cancer Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or LeMoyne Baptist Church.
