Lawrence V. "Sonny" Rose, age 76, of Swanton, Ohio passed away October 3, 2014. He was born March 26, 1938 in Toledo to Vilas and Rosaline (Floyd) Rose. Sonny enjoyed country music, cooking and going to car shows. He was a true connoisseur of good grub! The greatest love of Sonny's life was spending time with his family.
Sonny is survived by his wife of 22 years, Edith Rose, children, Randy, Gary, Karen and Jodi; 3 step-children; 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Vicki. In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by step-daughter, Wanda; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
