Lawrence "Larry" Redrup, 64, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2013. He was born on July 25, 1948 to the late Virginia and Harold Redrup in Toledo, Ohio.
Larry worked as a Used Car Manager and owned several businesses in the Toledo area. Larry and his wife, Cindy were members of Grace Lutheran Church for 35 years. He was the percussionist for "Tuned for Grace", the church's contemporary music group. Larry also played Big Band music with many area music groups. His family was very important to him and he especially adored his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy; children, Paul (Chrissy) and Debbie (Phil) Baum; brother, Tom (Georgetta) and twin brother, Gary (Sally); grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Robert and Paige; many nieces and nephews and other family members; family friends, Ron and Brenda Maran; and Cindy's hearing dog, A.J.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, June 2 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe Street. Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Toledo Hearing and Speech Center or Dogs for the Deaf.
