Lawrence Frelin

Lawrence "Rich" Frelin, 86, of Aiken, South Carolina, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on October 13, 1926, he was the son of the late Guy Gervais and Bertha Taylor Frelin. Rich proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army.
Besides his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Elizabeth Elliott Frelin; second wife, Lois Dazzle Frelin; five brothers; one sister and his grandson, Todd Frelin. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jennifer (Marty) Weislak, Beth (Tom) Contreras, Larry (Norma) Frelin, Richard (Kathy Cody) Frelin and Kevin (Debbie) Frelin; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Friday, April 26, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. The family will also receive guests Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Road. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Rich's memory to the American Lung Association.
