Lawrence Depew

Denny Depew, age 62 of Toledo passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born December 14, 1942 to Chauncey and Mildred (Jones) Depew in Sylvania, Ohio. Denny was employed with Bulkmatic for 8 years and the City of Sylvania for 15 years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed camping, racing and attending tractor pulls. Denny was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his sister, Delores; brothers, Wilbert and Eugene and niece, Robin. He is survived by his loving children, James (Tracy) Depew; Lawrence (Diana) Depew II; Nedelko "Nick" Depew; Laura Depew; David (Shannon) Barney and Brian (Tami) Beam; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Kauffman and Norma Childress; brother, Raymond Depew; special friends, Becky and Barbara and many other dear family and friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Siler. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
