Lavera Davis

LaVera F. Davis, age 93, formerly of Toledo and California, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005 in Spring Meadows Extended Care. She was born March 9, 1911 in Crowell, Texas to Ernest and Nettie (Long) Eason. LaVera enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, LaVera was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Fitch; brother, Ernest Eason and sister, Jody Wolf. She is survived by her loving daughter, Janet (Mike) Flanigan; grandchildren; Sharon Miller; Tracy McVey; Michael Flanigan, Jr.; James Fitch and Karen Ratz; 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Friday from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
