"God Sent Us An Angel"

Lauren passed away unexpectedly and peacefully, Friday evening, April 8th, 2011 in the loving arms of her mother and surrounded by her family, at the age of 25. She was born March 7th, 1986. Lauren came into this world with many challenges but was our "sunshine" everyday. She touched many hearts with her smile. Lauren was an "angel on earth".

She attended MR/DD programs throughout her life and graduated from the special education program at Whitmer High School in 2008. Lauren then went on to attend the Day Hab Program at the Sunshine Children's Home, which she loved because she was treated like a "princess". Lauren loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks and going to the mall.

Lauren is survived by her parents, Marcia Sullivan and Dan (Connie) Sullivan; sister, Kara (Rob) McBroom; brother, Kyle; niece, Mia McBroom and stepbrothers, Corey and Brad Keller. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lauren was preceded in death by her twin sister, Erin; grandparents, Claude and Mary Jane Mayes and Richard and Marie Terese Sullivan.

The family will receive guests Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Memorial Service beginning Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
