Loving mother, grandmother, sister, fiancé and friend Laura went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 25, 2016. Laura was born July 14, 1956 in Toledo to Robert and Irene Lucio. Laura attended Springfield High School and also received an Associate Degree in the Medical Field.
Laura will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Whether in her creative poetry, her wonderful singing, compassion for others, or simply her brilliant smile that instantly touched our hearts. Laura was and will continue to be an inspiration to those that remember her. Laura's most prized possession was all of her family, but especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
Laura is survived by her children, Jacob (Wendy) Siefert, best friend and daughter, Melanie (James) Clark and Dustin Siefert; fiance, Dave Headley; grandchildren, Austin, Abby and Luke Siefert, Paige and Emma Clark; siblings, Penny (Richard) Mierzejewski, Geno (Peggy) Lucio, twin-sister Linda (Michael) Jacobs, Robert (Robin) Lucio, Mike Lucio, Anna Litten, Dave (Carol) Lucio, Ted (Stephanie) Lucio, Becky (Dale) Komisarek, Gregg (Barb) Lucio and Todd (Ellen) Dean; former husband and oldest friend, Rick Siefert, and countless nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Battered Women's Shelter YWCA or Sparrow's Nest in Laura's memory.
