Laura Florine (Faneuff)
Laura Grant, age 96, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009. She was born on October 5, 1912 to Henry and Mabel (Scott) Faneuff. She married Gerald Grant on April 19, 1931. Laura was a devoted and loving homemaker and a 50 year member of the Eastern Stars. Her great sense of humor and positive outlook carried her through all of her 96 years.
Laura is survived by her son, Roger (Sherry); grandchildren, Lisa (Paul) Gunther and Scott (Amy) Grant; great-grandchildren, Gabby and Lily Gunther, Ben and Jillie Grant and son David, and family; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Pauline. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and seven siblings.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Laura's family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo and Beth of Masonic Helping Hands for all of their loving care.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
