Laura "Jeannie" Anderson, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on November 1, 1943 to Eugene and Cora Anderson in Detroit, MI. Jeannie was a secretary for over 10 years with National Society of Public Accountants, in Washington, D.C. She had a great love for reading and music. Jeannie was very involved with the music industry, being on the Dick Clark Tour, introducing Rod Stewart to David Ruffin, knowing bands like Led Zeppelin, Bad Company and The Platters, just to name a few of the unique involvements she had. Jeannie loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Jeannie is survived by her loving family, sons: Raymond G. Walkowski, Jr. and Eric (Bridget) Walkowski; grandchildren: Brittany, Paige, Michaela and Madalynn; sister: Terri (Greg) Tomajko; niece: Katie Tomajko; and nephew: Christopher Tomajko.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 1 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig.
