Larry V. Cole, 77, passed away on November 28, 2013. He was born on December 30, 1935 to the late Mary and Lonnie Cole in Johnson City, TN.
Larry was a proud veteran of the Navy; he served from 1954-1958. He retired from Hydra-matic after 30 years. Larry was a devout Christian and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and Shelton Park Church of God. He especially enjoyed singing special songs for the congregation.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Homer; sister, Lois Vega and half-sister, Shirley Murray. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Daisy; children, Deborah (Rick) Wolff, Christopher (Joyce) and Cynthia (LeRoy "Jr.") Johnson; sister, Rowena Synnott; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
