Larry J. Kruszewski

Larry J. Kruszewski, 71, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2015. He was born on September 8, 1943 to Gwendolyn and Joseph Kruszewski in South Bend, Indiana.

Larry was a proud graduate of Indiana University where he earned his Bachelors in Journalism. He was past president of the Toledo Chapter of the IU Alumni Club. Larry also served on the Board of Directors of the IU Alumni Association. He was an avid follower of IU Hoosiers Basketball. Larry retired from Ameriprise Financial in January of 2014. He enjoyed playing bridge and reading. Most importantly, Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of almost 50 years, Paula; daughters, Michelle (Paul) Dzyak and Denise (Brian) Calderbank; mother, Gwendolyn; brothers, Richard (Carol), Robert (Mary Alice), Daniel (Cathy); grandchildren, Alison, Fletcher, Gwendolyn, Brianna and Max and many close friends.

The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on July 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at Noon. Burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
