L. Juanita Winebarger

Lula Juanita Winebarger, age 75, of Temperance, passed away September 24, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Juanita was born February 5, 1939 in Statesville, NC to Lloyd and Lula (Litaker) Norris. She was employed with Oracle Vision Care for many years. Juanita was a long time member of Luna Pier Baptist Church and was very active within the church. She loved spending time with her family and especially "girls days" with her daughters. She also enjoyed working outdoors and traveling back home to the mountains of North Carolina. Juanita was also an excellent cook.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was also preceded in death by her loving husband James Winebarger. She is survived by her daughters, Mechelle (Pete) Zografides, Tracie Boling and Kelly (Dan) Maciejewski, brothers, Lloyd "Bud" (Dee) Norris and Martin "Marty" (Brandy) Norris, sisters, Sandie Kovacs, Teresa Neeley and Dinah "Lynn" Kline, grandchildren, Andy (Aly), Amanda, Ashley, "Lil" Dan, Jonathan and Jacob, great grandchildren Zoey and Noah.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Whitney at Dr. Garth Phibbs office, Dr. Wenzke and Sally at The Toledo Hospital Infusion Center for the wonderful care and kindness they gave to Juanita.

In keeping with Juanita's wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Luna Pier Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Luna Pier Baptist Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to a charity of the donor's choice in Juanita's memory.
