Kyle A. Seyfried, age 24, of Columbus, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 in his home. He was born September 14, 1984 to Larry and Jody (Solitro) Seyfried in Toledo. Kyle was a graduate of St. John's High School. He was employed with The Ohio State University Medical Center as an Operational Supervisor. Kyle was very technical minded and a wizard at anything. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Kyle enjoyed skiing, playing hockey and especially soccer. He loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and spending time in Canada with his family, at his favorite place. Kyle was fun loving and kind, always bringing a smile to someone's face. He was very close with his family, especially his brother and his cousins. Kyle's charisma and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Solitro and Harold Seyfried. Kyle is survived by his loving family, parents, Larry and Jody Seyfried; brother, Kevin Seyfried; grandparents, Dama Seyfried and Patricia (George) Hartle; aunt, Cathy (Mike) McClellan; uncles, James and John Solitro, Charles (Linda) and William (Sharon) Seyfried; and a host of cousins, other family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Lauman.
