Kristopher F. Koester

Kristopher F. "Kris" Koester, age 50, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born on June 19, 1962 to Karl and Sharon (Mills) Koester in Toledo. Kris was a manager with Food Town Grocery Stores for over 25 years. He was an avid reader, loved the sun and to golf. Kris enjoyed time spent with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his father, Karl he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Gertrude Mills and Henry and Dorothy Koester. Kris is survived by his children, Joshua, Derek and Tyler Koester; mother, Sharon (Gary) Miller; brothers, Michael (Tammy) and Matthew (Kristin) Koester; sister, Lisa Hritzak; step-mother, Sandy Koester; nephews and niece, Todd Koester, Holly (Jason) Hartman and Noah Roscoe.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 3 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
