Kregg Park "Poncho" Walter, age 33, of Toledo, passed away December 31, 2022, at his home unexpectedly. Kregg was born September 15, 1989, in Toledo to Jay and Deanna (Hill) Walter.
He was a 2007 graduate of Bedford High School. Kregg was a Michigan fan as well as unfortunately a Cowboys fan . He enjoyed spending his time with family/friends but particularly loved hanging out with his beautiful bride Stacie as well as his amazing brother Josh (and sometimes Ron). You could always find him taking multiple pictures wherever he was to make sure he got "the right angle". He had a special knack of getting to know people and has had quite the impact on others lives. Kregg and Stacie attended Soma City Church and had a tangible love for Jesus. He was known for his sense of humor and his servant's heart. He was one of the most genuine and caring people around. Kregg is an unforgettable person to many and he will be carried with them in memory. Romans 8:31 "What, then, are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?"
Left to cherish his memory is his loving bride, Stacie; parents, Jay and Deanna Walter; brothers, Josh (Erika) Walter and Ron Searight; and grandparents, Gerald and Joanne Walter.
Kregg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernie and Nancy Hill.
A Celebration of Life honoring Kregg will be held on Thursday January 12th at Brick House Commons 3535 N Holland Sylvania Rd, Toledo OH 43615 from 2p-7p. Bring a picture to share if you would like, we will have a spot to hang them up to remember the great times we have all had with Kregg. Wear your favorite sports clothing (cowboys or michigan gear is a bonus), otherwise casual is just fine.
