Kirk Eubank, age 63, resident of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, after his fight with ALS. He was born on April 10, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to Boyd and Joan (Schwanbeck) Eubank.
A graduate of Bowsher High School, he worked at the Toledo Fire department, where he retired after 25 years. A Harley rider, he enjoyed riding his bike and taking trips to Tennessee with his wife, Cheryl. Kirk enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandson, Jayden. He liked listening to classic rock and going to concerts, a few favorites being, Bon Jovi, the Eagles, Tom Petty and Aerosmith. Family time was most important to Kirk. Spending time with his family at the cottage playing games will be something the family will forever cherish. A devoted and proud father and papa, he never missed any school games or events. Going out to eat with his family, at Loma Lindas, was something he looked forward to. Known as a prankster, he enjoyed pranking his family, friends, and colleagues; he enjoyed getting them to laugh.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cheryl (Broshious) Eubank, whom he married on September 18, 1982; two daughters, Laura Eubank (Nate) and Lynn (Nicki) Eubank; grandson, Jayden Collins; grand-dog, Scooby; chosen grandsons, Zeke, Zach, and Zander; mother, Joan Eubank; father and mother-in-law, Louis and Betty Posadny; brothers, Dale (Lindy) Eubank, Mark (Kathy) Eubank, and Dean Eubank; brother-in-laws, Jerry and Terry Broshious; best friend, Jim Botts; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Eubank.
