Kim M.(Wisniewski) Smith

Kim M. Smith, age 30, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 11th, 2010. She was born February 6th, 1980 to Michael and Pam (Truitt) Wisniewski in Sylvania, Ohio. Kim was a longtime resident of Toledo and a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a 1997 graduate of Whitmer High School and went on to attend Owens Community College to study Criminal Justice. After graduating Kim became a Corrections Officer and then a Deputy Sheriff with Lucas County for more than 5 years. Most importantly Kim was a mother, cherishing the time she spent with her children and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Wisniewski and grandfather, Richard Truitt. Kim is survived by her sons, Blake and Braden Smith and their father, David C. Smith; sisters, Kelly (Douglas) Harris and Kristy (Ron) Wisniewski; father, Michael (Darlene) Wisniewski; stepfather, James Lambert; stepbrother, Charles Immormino; grandmother, Barbara Truitt; nieces, Lilly and Carington and nephew, Keenan.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4227 Bellevue Rd. follow with a Memorial Mass beginning at 12:00 p.m.
