Kim L. "Kimmie" Longoria, Sr., age 62, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 30, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 10, 1954 to Walter and Helen (Nino) Longoria in Toledo. Kim was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavaliers and The Ohio State Buckeyes – he was a "True Ohio Boy". Kim enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking, especially menudo. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kim is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Rayman; children, Patricia "Trisha" Geronimo, Kim (Anna) Longoria, Jr., Jason (Krisie) Clay, Michael (Jennifer) Clay, Elana (Hector Alvarado) Longoria and Breana "Dink" Longoria; godson, Brian Madrid; grandchildren, Trey, Isaiah, Anthony, Dionna, Diondre, Dezaray, Julian, Madison, Hailey, River, Cadence, Zaiden, Addison and Makenna; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Janice Collins, Walter (Wanda) Longoria, Steve Longoria, Melinda Madrid, Mario Madrid, Jr., Brenda Madrid, Karen Madrid and Lori (Walter) Hicks; faithful canine companion, Meme; and many special nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Madrid; and brother-in-law, Drew Collins.
The family will receive guests on Sunday from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
