Kim A. Schroeder, age 55, of Toledo, formerly of Wauseon, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 8, 1959 to James and Diane (Saunders) Schroeder in Napoleon, Ohio. Kim graduated from Wauseon High School in 1978 and from Northwestern Business College. He was employed at Vin Devers, Inc. for over 25 years before retiring due to health reasons. Kim was a member of Fulton County Sportsman's Club and Wildwood Bowmen Club, of Delta, for many years. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and morel mushroom hunting. Kim was always like a father to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mom. Kim is survived by his loving dad, Jim Schroeder; loving companion, Patty Campbell; her daughter, Katie; sister, Dawn Navarro; nephews, Matt Smiddy and Eddie Navarro; niece, Natasha Roberts; great-nephew, Quintin Smiddy; and many dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
