Khalil M. "Leo" Jarouche, 75, passed away on June 14, 2013. He was born on November 15, 1937 in Sultan, Lebanon.
Leo came to America with his father at 15 years old in 1952, the first and last boat ride he ever wanted to take, he said. He was the owner of the Superior Grill-Downtown for 25 years, retiring in 1998.
Leo was preceded in death by his father, Mohammed Jarouche; mother, Fatima (Burkett) Jarouche; brothers, Ollie M. Jarouche and Youseff M. Jarouche. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Louise (Craig) Jarouche; son, Michael Jarouche; daughters, Beverly (Joe) Mattoni, Shelby Craig, Carolyn Hall, Tina (Terry) Storer; sister, Asma (Omar) Matt and brother, Omar (Mary Ann) Jarouche and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind friends and loved ones too numerous to name and he will always remain alive in our hearts.
