Kevin E. Williamson

Kevin E. Williamson, age 49, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly September 7, 2021. He was born September 13, 1971 in Zanesville, OH to Leonard Johnson and Sheila Saunders. Kevin graduated from Woodward High School in 1989 and Owens Community College in 1991. He was employed as a Firefighter with the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department for more than 28 years. Kevin was a USPTA Tennis Instructor and a Fire Instructor. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Ohio State Football fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and the Miami Dolphins. Kevin loved his music with Genesis, Phil Collins and the Petshop Boys being his favorites. Kevin and wife, Jami, enjoyed watching and attending professional wrestling events, going to concerts, football and baseball games. Kevin loved working in the yard and spending time with his family and friends. Everyone who met him loved his smile and infectious laugh. He touched so many lives and will live in our hearts forever.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Jami Williamson; mother, Sheila Saunders; father, Leonard Johnson; grandmother, Mildred Williamson; step-son, Zachary Garman; step-daughters, Delanie (Matt) Fahy and Kendall Garman; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Sally Verhoff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennifer (Andy) Olsen, Brad (Monica) Verhoff and Melissa (Tony) Kadow; step-sister, Velvet Saunders; step-brother, Darnell Saunders; aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Saunders.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
