Kevin Eugene Voss

Kevin E. Voss, age 54, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 31, 1963 to Robert J. and Anna M. (Bentz) Voss in Toledo. Kevin was a graduate of Macomber High School. Throughout most of his life he worked in the manufacturing and maintenance industry in Toledo and Ann Arbor. Most recently he worked at Home Depot on Secor Rd. He was a hard worker and dedicated to his daughter and grandchildren. He always supported his grandchildren's, nieces and nephews sporting and school events. Kevin's family will remember him as a kind man that was generous with his time, who gave the best bear hugs and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. He was also known as the family photographer - good, bad or ugly he snapped the photo!

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Ida (Nicholas) Mipe; precious grandchildren, Christopher, Miah, Jeremiah, Harper and Allie; siblings, Jane Voss (Hoyle Osborne), Michael (Mary) Voss, Christopher (Jennifer) Voss, Ruth (Paul) Hickman, Anthony Voss, Carleen August and Jerome (Sibyl) Voss; many many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and childhood best friends, Todd LaJune and Michael Murray. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donna Anderson and Raymond Voss; sister in law, Carol Voss and nephew, Ian Voss.

The family will receive guests on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
