Kevin Eugene Howell age 54, of Maumee, Ohio went peacefully to be with the Lord, with his family by his side on May 18, 2018 at his home. He was born to parents John and Jean Howell on October 21, 1963 in Toledo.
He attended Rossford High School, Class of 1982. He followed his passion and attended Baptist Bible College in Pennsylvania. Shortly after, he began his long career at Walbridge Coatings where he worked for 27 years as a Crane Operator and Shipping Crew Chief.
He loved spending time with his children, Sean and Courtney with many trips to Tigers games, Myrtle Beach and Wamplers Lake. In 2012 he married his beautiful wife Wendy at Hocking Hills. Some of his many passions included his dog Mollie, watching the Cleveland Browns and he was an avid collector of guns and knives. He also enjoyed singing, playing the piano and the guitar. His greatest joy was being a Papaw to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents John and Jean Howell. He will be greatly missed by his wife Wendy; Children, Sean (Stephani) Howell, Courtney (David) Rudolph; Step-Children, Josh Nichols, Megan (Luis) Nichols-Ramos; Sisters, Mary (Ed) Burgess, Diana Pirrwitz; Brothers, Richard Pirrwitz, John Pirrwitz; Grandchildren, Theodore, Vivienne, and twins on the way as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive guests at Newcomer SW-Chapel 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43615 (419) 381-1900 on Wednesday May 23, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Service will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
