Kerry E. Rouse, age 68, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, October 13, 2022. He was born in Toledo on April 23, 1954, to the late Edward and Jacqueline (Boos) Rouse.
Kerry graduated from Start High School in 1972. For 45 years, he enjoyed doing body work on cars. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed camping, drinking beer, taking rides on his golf cart, and sitting around bonfires with his friends and family. Kerry loved and adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and can't forget his dog, Bentley. He was so proud of his children's accomplishments and always attended their extracurricular activities. Kerry's smile, laugh, and love will forever be missed. It's not goodbye, it's see ya later…
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 17 years, Joann (Vermett) Rouse, whom he married on March 3, 2005; children, Kelly Delvaux, Katie Rouse, Kerry (Becky) Rouse Jr., Jessica Starkey and JD Starkey; numerous grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Robin (Scott Howard) Ledzianowski, Sherry (Bruce) Konecny and Linda Lorenzen; nieces, Micki Wagner and Alicia Cheff; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Louie Lorenzen; and a son-in-law, Paul Delvaux.
Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Kerry will be laid to rest at a later date.
