Kermitta J. Karpinski, age 65, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at home surrounded by all of her loving family. She was born on June 6, 1948 to Kermit, Sr. and Nancy (Smith) Jones in Toledo. Kermitta prepared taxes for many years, something she loved to do. She enjoyed playing Bunco, bingo and cards of all kinds, especially euchre. Kermitta was also in a cookie club. She loved nothing more than the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Kermitta will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kermitta is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Ron Karpinski; children, Timothy (Nora) Squire, Paul Squire and Krisandra (Albert) Trejo; grandchildren, Wolfgang, Cosmo, Ashley, Paul Jr., Brandon, Alex, Christian and Zach; great-granddaughter, Cataleya; sisters, Phyllis Baker and Nancy (Tom) Tapp; brother, Jim (Carol) Jones; and many other family members and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Albert Trejo, II; and brothers, William and Kermit Jones, Jr.

Memorial Services are pending with a gathering to immediately follow for family and friends. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
