Kenny B. Pratt

Kenny B. Pratt, age 62, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on June 6, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Kenny was born February 23, 1957 in Calhoun, Mississippi to Booker T. Pratt (Sadie) and Effie Booker (James). Kenny graduated from Scott High School. He was employed with the M&M Restaurant/Supply for more than 20 years.

Kenny enjoyed spending time at the comedy club, fishing, and spending time with his family. As a loving and a giving person, Kenny believed in helping others and showed kindness to all he came into contact with. He could always be counted on, even in poor health, to lend a helping hand or sound advice.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Brandee Pratt; his brother, James Booker Jr. and sister Betty Jennings. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Shirley A. Pratt, his children; Kenneth (Khadijah) Pratt, Curt (Conswella) Darrington and Jassmia (Paul) Hyde. He is also survived by his step-children; Stephanie (Alvin) Jones, Richard Nelson, 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his siblings; Eugene Lawrence, Virgie Lee Mays, Bonnie Washington (Donald), Frank Pratt and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
