Kenneth Gerald Strochine
Kenneth G. Strochine, age 72 of Toledo passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 in his home. He was born August 29, 1932 to George C. and Evelyn (Fettig) Strochine in Wyandotte, Michigan. He was employed with Airport Community Schools for 19 years. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to the Duane Malinowski Polka Band.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Strochine and brother, Melvin Strochine. He is survived by his children, Kenneth M. Strochine of Monroe, MI; Cheryl (Tracy) Grahl of Newport, MI; Evie (Jim) Kropaczewski of Monroe; Helen (Stan) Ziembowicz of Carleton, MI; David (Marcia) Strochine of Toledo; Michelle Stoner of Springhill, TN and Gerald (Mary) Strochine of Erie, MI; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Don Strochine of Summer Shade, KY; Donna Orman of Lincoln Park, MI and Ronnie Strochine of Newboston, MI and sister-in-law, Diane McCarthy Wiseman.
The family will receive guests Saturday 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Mr. Michael Pence.
