Kenneth E. Smith

Kenneth E. Smith, age 71, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his daughter's home in Temperance, MI where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 11, 1946 to Henry F. and Esther L. (Strawbridge) Smith in Monclova, Ohio. Kenny was a true outdoorsman and had a deep love for nature. He also was an avid biker and above everything spending time with his family was his pride and joy. Kenny had a great, outgoing personality and no matter where he went he always seemed to make friends with everyone. He walked close to Christ and was a member of The Dwelling Place in Holland. Kenny will be dearly missed by many.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lisa Stroble (Brian Rasey); grandchildren, Nathan Stroble (Brooke Harlett) and Jessica Stroble; brothers, Hank (Joyce) Smith and Richard (Anita) Smith; first wife and friend, Linda Smith; special nieces and nephews and three step-children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Norma Jean Smith and sister, Mary Mitchell.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10 - 11:00 a.m. in The Dwelling Place Church, 8201 Angola Rd., Holland, OH with his Memorial Service starting at 11:00 a.m.

Kenny's family would like to specially thank ProMedica Flower Hospital Oncology staff and ProMedica Hospice for the tender and diligent care that they provided to Kenny.
