Kenneth Saylor

Kenneth G. Saylor, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, January 29th, 2006 in his home. He was born December 25th, 1927 to Lloyd and Virginia (Smith) Saylor in Rose Hill, Virginia. Kenneth was employed with City Auto Stamping for 38 years. He was a devoted member to his church, Shelton Park Church of God and also enjoyed listening to gospel music. Kenneth was known for his green thumb and he tended his garden with love. Most importantly he treasured the time spent with family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gladys (Ely) Saylor; sons, Austin Saylor and Kenneth Rick Saylor; grandchildren, Audra L. Boles; Austin A. Saylor II; Angela D. Unruh and Mandi L. Saylor; step grandchildren, Carrey and Shawn Horvath; great grandchildren, Brett M. Boles; Brook L. Saylor; Arden Unruh and Jared A. Saylor; brother L.B. Saylor and many special and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 4-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Isham. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
