Kenneth J. Miller

Kenneth J. Miller, 85, was called to Heaven on Saturday, March 22, 2014. He was born on December 24, 1928 in Toledo. Ken was a PFC radio operator in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, Honorably Discharged on Dec. 10, 1956. He retired from Columbia Gas System after 35 years of service and he enjoyed art, music and dancing.

Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia; children, James (Barbara), Christina (Pat) and Cynthia (Ken). Also survived by grandchildren, Candace (Paul), Angela (Collin), David and Lt. Cpl. Kenneth, U.S.M.C.; siblings, Maryann, Catherine, John (Anita) and Ursula.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Prayer Service will be officiated by Fr. Michael Miller, MSC at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 9: 15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena, 4555 N. Haven Ave. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
