Kenneth "Kenny" B. Hall, Sr., age 84, of Sylvania Township, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Franciscan Care Center. He was born on January 31, 1922 to Ernest and Frances (McAllister) Hall in Toledo. Kenny was a veteran of the U.S Army serving in World War II. He was employed with Doehler-Jarvis for 37 years as an inspector until retiring. Kenny was a member of the Westgate Chapel, he was a Westgate Chapel Trustee and a custodian for 10 years at the church. He was also a member of the Westgate Chapel's Keenagers and Doehler-Jarvis' Quarter Century Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia, brothers, Harold and George, sisters, Margaret, Virginia, and Tessa and his beloved granddog, Lexi. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of nearly 58 years, Lorene (Stallsworth) Hall; children: Kenneth B. Hall, Jr., Douglas (Colleen) Hall, both of Toledo, Beverly Graham, of Sylvania, Brenda (Brian) Simons, of CO; and Wendy Hall, of Sylvania; grandchildren: Jeff, John, Brandon (Carolyn) and Eric Hall, Scott (Carolyn) and Sarah Showalter, Jennifer and Sheila Graham; siblings: Keith (Tep) Hall, of TN, Lillian Fair, of Sylvania, Norman (Louise) Hall, of MI, and Vernon Hall of Toledo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor James Armstrong. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
