Kenneth James "Jim" Eitniear, age 78, of Holland, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born September 7, 1942 to Kenneth Eitniear and Marie (Harris) Betz in Toledo. Jim grew up in Toledo with his four siblings.
He owned and operated Dorr Street Auto Parts for 27 years. Prior to that, he worked at Howard's Auto Parts, Spuds Auto Parts and LaPoint Auto Parts for several years. Jim developed an interest in cars at an early age, favoring the old Classics. As a car enthusiast he enjoyed traveling all over the country to Classic Car Shows throughout the years with his brother, Roger and several friends. Jim was also a fan of Drag Racing and attended several events at Milan Speedway in Michigan. He was known by many to be an outdoorsman enjoying camping, fishing, boating and white water rafting.
Jim was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, cherishing the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also shared his life with his longtime partner Billie, living, laughing and loving life one day at a time.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Marie and his stepmother, Edith. He is survived by his longtime partner, Billie Wolff; children, Kenneth (Denise) Eitniear, Jr., Michael (Tanya) Eitniear, Thomas (Brittany) Eitniear and Eileen (Doug) Staczek and their mother, Patricia A. Dick; also surviving are his children from his previous marriage, James (Sandy) Eitniear and Jody (Lonnie) Eitniear; grandchildren, Meagan, Derrek, Kendra, Courtney, Spud, Brooke, Drew, Thomas, Ty, Mya, Trista, Elise, Trenton, Tre, Morgan, Madiisynn, Kenzyee, Kodie, Apple and Ronin; 12 great grandchildren and siblings, Sonja Eitniear, Roger (Rita) Eitniear, Judy (Herman) Heorig and Joy (Rick) Yore.
The family will receive guests Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
