Kenneth Charles Maxwell

Kenneth C. Maxwell, 80, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2014. He was born on February 24, 1934 to the late Mavis and Charles Maxwell in Canton, Ohio.
Ken enjoyed playing pool, baseball darts, shuffleboard and bowling. He loved spending time with his family at summertime cook-outs. Ken liked relaxing on the front porch with a beer and his country music. He was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marge and brother, Don. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Grace Mallette, Zane (Sharon) Maxwell and Tina (Donald) Lonsway; sister, Pat (Ralph) Spartman; grandchildren, Ken (Tracey) Yerg, Donnie Yerg, Zane (Kelly) Maxwell, Darrell (Jennifer) Maxwell, John (Samantha) Yerg, Heather (Dave) Slagle, Angel (Josh) Vance, Jason (Colleen) Yeary and Jennifer (Ken) Luna; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
