Kenneth Carroll

Kenneth "Ken" Carroll, age 66, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 3, 2020 at home. He was born on October 6, 1954 to James and Ruth Carroll in Monroe, Michigan. Ken was a friend to everyone with a heart made of the purest gold. Once you met him, you could never forget him! Ken had a love for music and would play the perfect song to help you feel better or tell you what you needed to hear. He loved to play his guitar and sing. Ken was always willing to help someone else whenever they needed, even if that meant dropping everything in a moment's notice to travel several states, which he did on multiple occasions. He was always good with advice and could tell you that you were wrong in a way that you accepted it and tried to do better.

Ken loved his grand-babies and was always happy to have them around. The room would light up with joy whenever he would see them. Ken loved taking time out to play with them and just to talk with them. Most of all he loved his wife, Sally. Ken was always there to take care of her when she needed and she did the same for him. They were each other's world. Ken's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky, Gary and Kevin Carroll. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Sabitas "Sally" Carroll; children, Alicia, Carolyn, Ken, Crystal, Linda and David; 10 grandchildren; brother, Dave (Jan) Carroll; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 3 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH at 1:00 p.m. (For the safety of the Carroll family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).
