Kenneth Barrett

Kenneth R. Barrett, age 90 of Holland, Ohio passed away Friday March 18th, 2005 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Kenneth was born March 7th, 1915 to William and Eunice (Adams)Barrett. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran serving overseas. He was involved with the CCC for several years. Kenneth was a member of the Teamster's Local 20 for many years and he attended Providence Lutheran Church. Kenneth enjoyed camping and a good card game as well as spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Gertrude "Trudy" Barrett and siblings, Eugene; LeRoy and Patsy. Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Joy (Frank) Singleton; son; David (Sandra) Barrett; brother, Richard Barrett; sisters, June Stearns and Roberta Weber; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 24th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Hwy. Officiating will be Pastor Sharon Stonerock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
