Kelly E. Navarre-Margalski, age 46, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at her favorite place in the world, her family lake cottage, in Hale, MI. She was born on March 31, 1970 to Joel and Pamela Navarre in Toledo. Kelly was a graduate of Whitmer High School. She then went to Lourdes College and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Education. Kelly worked at St. Vincent's Hospital for almost 10 years where she met her husband, Dean Margalski. She was an avid reader, she loved nature and animals. Kelly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe; maternal grandparents, Dale and Arlene Palmer; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Florence Navarre. Kelly is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Dean Margalski; mom, Pam Navarre; Aunt, Audrey Poland; fur babies, Maggie and Angus; mother-in-law, Carol-Ann Margalski; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Jeff) Chubner and Terri (Chuck) Anderson; Aunt Sue and Uncle Jerry Saxton; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
