Kelly Arthur, 48, passed away on March 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 27, 1964.
Kelly graduated from Start High School. She worked at the EST Dental Lab as a Lab Technician. Kelly was always a creative, musical and artistic person. She played several instruments throughout her life, most recently she was teaching herself to play the piano, cello and violin. Kelly was a member of the Toledo Area Sculptors Guild for 20 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially taking walks to the river with her dog, Zeke. Kelly liked to hunt, garden and also can fruits, vegetables and salsa with her cousin, Laura. Kelly will be remembered for her passion for life, sculpting and her love for her family.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Pierre "Peter" Arthur. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Jo Ann Arthur; son, Joshua S. (Sara); brother, Anthony; grandson, Jackson; granddaughter-on-the-way, Adeline; special cousins, Laura, Debbie and Kim; friends, Donna, Jane, Joe, Tom, Shelly; special friend, Bob and many other loving family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hicksville, Ohio at 3:00 p.m.
