Keith L. Mckenzie

Keith L. McKenzie, age 66, of Springfield Twp., passed away July 18, 2021 at the Flower Hospital. He was born on July 1, 1955 to Edgar and Lois (Balska) McKenzie in Oregon, OH. Keith had a master's degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed with Jeep for the last almost 48 years. Keith was a very hard worker, a creationist and loved putting his skills to the test. He enjoyed woodworking, nature, trees and birds of all kinds; you could often find him feeding the animals. Keith was an avid fan of the University of Toledo and the Michigan Wolverines. His biggest love was spending time with his family, most importantly his grandchildren. Keith's huge heart, big smile and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish Keith's memory are his loving soulmate of 24 plus years, Vickie Menter; children, Crystal (Joshua) Beasley and Craig (Ashley) McKenzie and grandchildren, Cameron, Conner, Caylynn, Lily, and Mason; sister, Kathern (Nick) Schneider; brother, Kenneth (Deb) McKenzie; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH (419-392-9500).

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Keith are asked to consider the Toledo Metroparks.
