Keith E. Daly

Keith E. Daly, age 70, of Toledo, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1937 to Kenneth and Dolores (McCullough) Daly in Toledo. Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving his country proudly and honorably for 21 years and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 17 years. Keith was a Past Commander of the VFW Post 3338 and of the Zenobia Shrine, Legion of Honor. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2898, Air Force Sgt. Association and the DAV. Keith was also a member of the American Legion, Summit St., AMVets, and Blue Lodge Collingwood #457 where he also served as Past Master. Keith was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his wife. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Nick and Ken Daly. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Crossnoe) Daly; children, Edward (Teresa) and Brian Daly, Evvie (Carl) Christensen and Patty Johnson; step-children, Tammy (Rob) Pierson, Michelle and Tommy Dryer; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Caroline (Ron) Kovacs; brothers, Bob (Tish), Michael (Debb) and Paul (Genny) Daly; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
