Katie Beth Walton-Sheppard, 29, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2012. She would have turned 30 on November 27, 2012.
Katie was a 2001 graduate of Northview High School. She attended Nursing School after high school. Katie was a manager at LaSalle Cleaners for over 5 years. She loved her family and adored her dog, Pixie. Katie had a great personality and love of life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Katie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Walton; grandpa, David Inman and uncle, Jimmy Walton. Left to cherish her memory is her papa, Clarence Walton; grandma, Carol Inman, her father, Robert (Bobbie) Walton; siblings, Samantha, Andrew and Alexandria Walton; niece, Olivia; Aunt Linda (Chuck); Aunt Cheryl Reash; special cousins, Sarah (Brandon) Wetter, Nicholas Platt and Sadie (Nick) Gentry; special friends, Darra, Stephanie and the Resnick Family.
A Candlelight Vigil will be held on at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at 1861 Rivard Road.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday morning in the funeral home. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
