Kathryn P. Liebold

Kathryn P. "Kay" Liebold, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born on April 4, 1918 to Theodore and Bessie (Grube) Dimke in Archbold, Ohio. Kay worked for Toledo Edison and Bentley Swartzbaugh Company as well as J.L. Hudson's. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, knitting, bowling and golfing. Kay also had fond memories of traveling with her husband, Palmer E. Liebold and their daughter, Mary. Most precious to Kay was her one and only grandson, Ted. Kay will be remembered as a loving and supportive wife, mother and "Ga."

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Kathryn Elliott; grandson, Theodore L. Elliott; nephew, Dr. Richard (Karen) Gould; niece, Jill (Kevin) Wirtz and other extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer in 1992; brothers, Theodore W. Dimke, Jr. and Robert L. Dimke; sisters, Helen Burch, Martha Gould and Theola Mae Gutierrez.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

The family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff at Lutheran Village at Wolfe Creek and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the excellent care and love they provided to Kathryn.
