Kathleen M. Moran

Kathleen M. Moran, age 67, lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away October 26, 2015 at The Cleveland Clinic. Kathleen was born November 25, 1947 in Toledo to Al and Eunice (Williams) Luken. She was a graduated from Central Catholic High School. She was employed as a Dental Assistant throughout her career. She was an active member of ALANON. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and loved being on the water.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was also preceded in death by her niece, Neek and several dear friends. She is survived by her Daughter, Michelle Moran, Son, Michael T. (Jennifer) Moran, Sister, Sally (Bob) Sautter, grandchildren; Kori Poling, Mariah Poling, Seth Moran, Jessica Cope, niece and nephews; Dee, Di, Rob, David, Karen, and Sandi, and many other family members.

The family will receive guests Friday, October 30, 2015 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. 419-381-1900. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Kathleen's final wish was to have her ashes be laid to rest in the Maumee river and the waters surrounding Put-in-Bay. The Moran children will be holding a celebration of life at Put-in-Bay in memory of their mom on a date to be determined. Contributions may be made payable to Michelle Moran C/O Newcomer Funeral Home for this event or to a Hospice of your choice.
