Kathleen J. Disalle

Kathleen J. DiSalle, age 94, of Maumee, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 22, 1914 to Anthony and Bessie Tussing in Toledo. Kathleen was employed at The Lilac Tree for 17 years before retiring. She was an avid volunteer at the Sunset House and Mercy Hospital. Kathleen also loved animals and often enjoyed helping at the animal shelter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. DiSalle and brothers, Blake and Forest Tussing. Kathleen is survived by her loving sons, Barry (Roberta) DiSalle and Terry (Laura) DiSalle; niece, Judy Flowers; nephew, Ronnie (Cathy) Tussing; and special friend and caregiver, Patty Byrne.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 1 – 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will take place Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, Chapel of Memories with Entombment to follow.
