Kathleen F. Brown

Kathleen F. Brown, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 8, 2019 with loving family by her side. She was born on December 10, 1943 to Thomas and Virginia (Marciniak) Piasecki in Toledo. Kathy was a graduate of Springfield High School. She worked as a bus driver for over 15 years with Toledo Public Schools before retiring. Kathy loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She enjoyed the outdoors; going camping, taking road trips, and canoeing. Kathy loved to dance, go shopping in store and online, and collected cook books. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Kathy's smile, sense of humor and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Piasecki. Kathy is survived by her loving children, Paul Brown, Suzanne Brown and Pamela (Brad) Skiles; grandchildren, Amber (Cory) Sosbe, Bobby Ries, Thomas Brown, Kennedy Skiles and Randy Orth; great-granddaughter, Harper Sosbe; sister, Barbara (Bill) Eisel; special friend, Derrick Leonard; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 2 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH, 43617 (419-392-9500) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Kathy's wish was for people to celebrate her, wear vibrant colors, laugh and share happy memories. Her family looks forward to seeing everyone who is able to attend services.
