Kathleen A. Kaminski

Kathleen A. Kaminski, age 50, formerly of Boston, MA, currently of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born April 7, 1963 in Toledo to Joel and Marge (Swartz) Kaminski. Kathleen graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1981; completed her Bachelor and Master's Degrees from the University of Toledo and Cambridge College. She had a long successful career with Harvard University spanning over 20 years in various positions. In addition, Kathleen was also proud of her work empowering and encouraging new parents in her role as a "Doula" in Boston. She enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Joel and Marge Kaminski; siblings, Tim (Dr. Sharon Heil) Kaminski, Susan (Tim) Elfreich, Cheryl (Mark) Herr, Jeffrey Kaminski and Lynn (John) Obrite; best friend, Audrey (Brett) Warner and their children, Krystin, Chelsea, Dana, Emma and Freddy; nieces and nephews, A.J., Matthew, Alex, Lucas, Nathan, Megan, Mary Grace, Thomas, Zane and Jessie Rose; grandmother, Ruth Swartz-Roth; aunt and uncle, Larry and Mary Ann Swartz; and many cousins. Kathleen was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Martha Kaminski, James Swartz and George Roth; and godson, Randy.

The family will receive guests Monday, October 28, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The family will also receive guests Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Catholic Church, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio.

The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospital Emergency Department, especially Dawn, Natalie, Drs. Jindal and Lint; ICCU staff, Dr. Tara Eberle and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg for their kindness and unconditional love.
