Kathi Jo Saleh

Kathi Jo Saleh, age 57, of Toledo, passed away September 3, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Kathi was born May 19, 1964 in Bowling Green to Robert and Joan (Marstellar) Artz.
She was a 1982 graduate of Rossford High School. Kathi married her best friend, Kamil Saleh, on October 4, 1997 at Zoar Lutheran Church. She was an administrator for Hickory Farms, the Douglas Company, and lastly Northwest Electrical. One of her passions was being an event coordinator at Parkway Place, where she helped many couples plan their special day. Kathi was a faithful member of Zoar Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 16 years.
In her free time she enjoyed watching football especially the Michigan Wolverines and the Minnesota Vikings. Kathi enjoyed cooking and baking and was never afraid to try a new recipe. She loved being outside on the golf course or watching golf on t.v. Her favorite movie was Top Gun. Most of all, Kathi treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Two words that best describe her are organized and punctual. Kathi never missed her daughter's sporting events or dance recitals, always on hand to save the day with an extra pair of tights.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 24 years, Kamil Saleh; daughter, Jordan Saleh; brother, Mark Artz; father and mother-in-law, Tayssir "Ty" and Christine Saleh; brother-in-law, Jamiel (Melissa) Saleh; sister-in-law, Anisa Saleh; nieces, Paige and Emalee Artz, Madison, Sydney and Savannah Saleh; numerous family and friends.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents and her loving canine companion, Sandy.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 am. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, with an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.
