Katherine Harp

Katherine Harp, age 74, of Liberty Center, OH passed away the evening of July 4, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Kathy was born May 19, 1947 in Toledo to Frank and Clara (Nowak) Zbierajewski. She married Thomas Everett Harp, Jr., July 29, 1967. Kathy was a fun, caring individual that loved to play games and spend time with her family and friends. If you knew Kathy, you knew she had a passion to cook for anyone and everyone. Every year she canned fruits and vegetables and often gave away more than she kept. People that knew Kathy, laughed a little more and understood what compassion was all about.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was also preceded in death by her sister, Deana and sister-in-law, Karen. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom Harp; children, Michelle Harp-Tracy, John (Tammy) Harp and Tony Harp; grandchildren, Mariah (Ethan) Chumchal, Mark Tracy, Justin Harp, Kailey Harp and Preston Harp; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Chumchal; brothers, Dave, John, Frank (Helen) and Stan (Irene) Zbierajewski.

The family will receive guests Friday, July 9, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
